Thankful Thursday 11/20
We've officially felt the winter season in full force here in Texas. It even snowed a little this past Sunday night! All this cold weather makes me miss New England and has helped me get a jump start on the Christmas decorating.
This week I'm so thankful for getting my baking streak back. I felt like I've been a little off my game lately! I recently made Carmelita's for my husbands office and got some positive feedback when he got home that night.
I'm also thankful for our sweet friends who got married! It's always a blessing to be a part of someone's special day and it reaffirms the vows Ronnie and I took when we watch another couple promise to love each other as Jesus loves us.
And finally, I'm thankful for Christmas decorating with my sweet husband. He loves this time of year and it's hard not to get child like when I'm around him. I recently repurposed a Christmas wreath I made two years ago that I had gotten tired of. I decided to do less glitter this year and more of an old fashioned Christmas theme. We live in an apartment and space is limited so we compromised and got a mini 4 foot tree. I just love the picture of Ronnie stringing the lights.
Are you getting in the holiday spirit or do you wait until after Thanksgiving?
