Oh, How He Loves Us
Today in church we continued the Together series preached by our senior pastor, Todd Wagner. The series has been focusing on community and how we're better together, seeking God with others who have chosen to do the same.
In today's message we focused on how God pursues us through these relationships. Todd made a statement that really stuck with me. He said God is enough in all His riches and glory to fulfill our needs. But, we were made to experience life with others and so much of Gods grace and mercy can be physically seen through our relationships with people.
When I think about how God has blessed my life, I realize so many of those blessings are relationships I've experienced with family, friends, co-workers, and community group members. Certain seasons have brought an abundance of friendships and other seasons I've had a small handful. Each relationship has its ups and downs but when people are chasing after God together, there is so much to be thankful for.
After Todd finished his sermon, we sang "How He Loves" by John Mark McMillan. I was inspired by the following lyrics I'm about to share with you and asked my husband to design a free wallpaper using the lyrics as his guide. I hope you download it and remember just how much God loves you.
