How far along: 26 weeks, 2 days
Total weight gain: 21 pounds...21!!! I was so surprised when she told me as I definitely don't feel like I've gained that much but I've been making efforts to walk at night with Ronnie and eat more salads. Everyone I've talked to said not to stress and worry about gaining weight unless my doctor becomes concerned. It's definitely not easy but I'm working on it.
Maternity clothes? all. the. time. still :)
Stretch marks? None so far but still using lots of lotions and oil.
Sleep: Lots of waking up every hour re-adjusting my pillows, covers, body, husband. I feel like our bed has been taken over by pillows to help me feel comfortable and elevate parts of my back and legs. I did go to bed at 7:45 on Saturday night and slept until 8 the next morning and STILL took a two hour nap on Sunday.
Best moment this week: When I was at the doctor last Wednesday my doctor was listening to her heartbeat and noticed that it was somewhat irregular. She referred us to a fetal specialist at Children's Medical hospital in Plano and they were amazing! Ronnie and I felt so comfortable while we were there and cared about. We got to see Baby J on the screen for over an hour. They studied her heart and the 4 chambers, looked at blood flow, and listened to how her heart beats. It was so awesome to watch and see her wiggling around. Thankfully, everything is ok with her heart and the rest of development. Ronnie and I have been praying so much, along with our family, for her to be healthy and strong. We're so thankful God answered our prayers!
Miss anything? Sleeping in an position I want and through the night. I also miss not looking tired every day. Make up isn't even coming close to covering up my dark circles.
Movement: Lots of movement at night. Ronnie is able to see her kicking through my stomach which makes us both laugh so much.
Food cravings: Honeycrisp apples and water. Also, cereal!
Gender: Still a baby girl in there!
Labor Signs: Nothing so far.
Symptoms: I've been feeling pretty good this week compared to last. The headaches and nausea are still there but much less frequent. My feet have started swelling after work so Ronnie's been great and giving me foot rubs!
Wedding rings on or off? On
Looking forward to: Still planning our Seattle trip and seeing family this Saturday night!
