How far along: 32 weeks, 2 days
Total weight gain: 33 pounds. I went to the doctor this morning and gained another 4 pounds. I'm getting slightly frustrated with the big weight gains over just a few weeks. My doctor said a lot of it could be water weight since I'm complaining on puffiness and swelling. She did remind me that I need to stop thinking I'm eating for two :)
Maternity clothes? All the time and I can't wait to get home from work and put sweatpants on. I wish yoga pants and sweatshirts were appropriate for work.
Stretch marks? None so far and I'm very thankful!
Sleep: It comes and goes but I'm pretty much always tired. I keep waking up around 1:30 and 3:30 usually to change positions. I think my body is preparing me for when she's here on the outside.
Best moment this week: We had a doctor appointment today which included a sonogram to see our girl. I was measuring slightly ahead at my last two appointments so they wanted to see how much she's grown at this appointment. We were looking at the ultrasound screen and watching her moving around. It was hard for them to get a clear picture of her because of all her wiggling. They measured her head and length and told me she's measuring 34 weeks and 4 days ahead. She's averaging about 5 pounds and in the 90th percentile. I kind of freaked out but remembered that the weight has a +/- 2 pound margin of error as well as she could possibly be going through a growth spurt. Her amniotic fluid levels are measuring on the low side as well so my doctor told me to drown myself in water basically.
Miss anything? Nothing too much but probably just sleeping through the night.
Movement: She was moving so much during the sonogram it was making the ultrasound tech laugh. She's head down with her feet pushing up or on my lungs which makes sense as to why I can't breathe at all these days.
Food cravings: WATER...still. I don't really have any cravings for anything these days. I'm tired of eating and snacking and most things don't sound good. I also get full really quickly because she's pushing up on my stomach.
Labor Signs: No signs yet.
Symptoms: Aches and pains that have been typical of this last trimester are still going strong. Water retention and puffy/tight hands in the morning and swollen ankles at night. I'm ready for my shoes to fit again!
Looking forward to: Thanksgiving! Our whole Dallas family will be at my parents house and I'm looking forward to visiting with everyone, eating mashed potatoes, and wearing stretchy pants!
