How Many Weeks: 37 weeks, 3 days
Total weight gain: 41 pounds total.
Maternity clothes? Leggings and stretchy pants all day! I put on a pair of jeans this past week that still fit and weren't too uncomfortable. But as soon as we got home it was back to those lovely stretchy pants!
Stretch marks? ope! And I'm SO thankful!
Sleep: I can't seem to get into a good groove of sleeping. Some nights I'll sleep a majority through the night and not wake up until 4 or 5. Other nights it's waking up while tossing and turning each hour. I started getting hot flashes while sleeping which are NOT fun! We don't keep the heat on at night and I'm still dying.
Best moment this week? onnie has been off work since Christmas so I took a day off to spend with him. We put together the dresser/changing table for Baby J and set up our guest room for when my mom comes to stay at help out. Ronnie was so great and hung up shelves, photos, put the whole dresser together, etc. I'll be doing a blog post showing all the photos he took soon.
Miss anything? ot being pregnant! I'm so ready for her to be here and move on to the next season of being this littler girls mom!
Movement: Lots of moving still. Ronnie recorded her moving through my belly and it literally looks like an alien is in there. It's rolling and jabbing at all these weird angles. It will be interesting to see if I miss all her moving when she's here. I've heard a few moms say that's what they miss the most about being pregnant. It is comforting to feel her and know she's still alive and growing.
Food cravings: Mints, still :) I really enjoy the crunching and coolness of them. It's so weird because I never liked them before this last trimester. I've gone through almost a whole bag of peppermint lifesavers in 3 days. I'm sure my dentist would freak out with all the sugar but I do try and limit how many I have a day.
Labor Signs: Lots of contraction like feelings that always go away after a while. At my last appointment the doctor said I was only a centimeter and a half dilated. I go again today to see her so I'm hoping she can say I've made some progress. With all the pain and tightness I keep feeling, I have to think it's getting my body ready for her.
Symptoms: You name it and I've probably got it right now. Acid reflux, aches and pains, cravings, sleepless nights but oh so tired days, everything is a stretch to do these days. You should see my try to get up off the couch! Ronnie keeps me going by helping me find the humor in all this because otherwise I'd probably just cry a lot!
Looking forward to: abor...and I never thought I'd say that out loud! I'm terrified but also just so done with being pregnant and would like her out NOW! We also have our final sonogram next week so I can't wait to see her profile and get her measurements!
