How Far Along: 34 weeks, 2 days
Total weight gain: 33 pounds but I go to the doctor tomorrow so we'll see what or if I've gained since my last appointment.
Maternity clothes? Leggings all day, every day. I have one pair of work pants that still fit and jeans. I still can't wait to get home each day and put my comfy pants on.
Stretch marks? None so far, fingers crossed I don't get any!
Sleep: Horrible but I know my body is preparing me for when Baby J gets here. Ronnie has started waking up whenever I get up to pee. Hopefully he's getting mentally prepared too!
Best moment this week: Ronnie started a new job this week and we're super excited for the new opportunity. I'm so proud of him and how he's worked to find the right company and position to challenge him and help him grow.
Miss anything? Maternity pants that fit! My work pants are too tight to wear for the whole day so I'm limited in what I can wear each day which as a girl can be frustrating. I also miss not being thirsty, if that's even possible. I'm constantly thirsty and drinking water but still feel swollen and puffy, not to mention how many times I have to pee these days. I thought it was a joke how much pregnant women peed, but it's not funny to me anymore.
Movement: Lots of moving at night, she's slowed down the rest of the day. I can feel more jabs and kicks on my sides with twirls in the lower center of my belly. I don't think I've dropped yet but most of the movement I feel is low.
Food cravings: Honeycomb cereal for breakfast, snacks, and dinner. I could eat cereal all day lately. And of course, lots of water and mint gum. I swallowed wrong this past week after chewing a new piece and nearly choked on the minty flavor. It took a while for the burning in my throat to subside. Not my best look :)
Labor Signs: Lots of cramping and then nothing, back pain is in full effect but goes away.
Symptoms: Peeing every 5 seconds and feeling like I have to go again even when I just went. I've gotten very familiar with public bathrooms and I'll hold it until I know we're at a clean one. Hangryness is in full effect these days, as well. Ronnie is so patient with me and encourages me to eat even when I can't decide what I want. Food doesn't sound good most days but I get ravenous quickly if I don't have snacks on hand throughout the day. Oh, and of course the swelling :) my hands are officially looking like sausages and might be puffier and larger than my husbands.
Looking forward to: Moving! We are on the tail end of packing most of our apartment and will be moving soon. I can't wait to be settled and decorate our little tree for Christmas. It also means we're getting closer and closer to meeting Baby J. I'm terrified and excited all at the same time!
