Friday rolled on in and we were so thankful for the break to relax and finally spend time together after a busy week. We spent the night out running errands and having dinner at Maggiano's. We have been planning dates nights lately and it was so nice to sit back and have an actual conversation about things other than dinner and work.
We started Saturday off with finally organizing and unpacking our last two boxes. Ronnie was such a good husband and hung up curtains and put a few pictures on the wall to make it feel more like a home. Here's a photo of his handy work. I didn't even give him instructions on where to hang everything but I think it turned out great. I'm looking forward to adding a few more prints.
I rearranged the kitchen cabinets twice before deciding on where everything belongs. I'm sure I'll have second thoughts this week as I start cooking more. We organized for most of the day, eating leftover Maggiano's in our sweatpants before wasting our whole day. I got to spend my evening with my sweet friend Molly for a girls night of dinner and shopping.
Sunday consisted of church, grocery shopping, stopping at our storage unit to add a few more bins, and studying for my Series 7 and Ronnie getting his movie fix in. We spent the remainder of the afternoon staying warm from the rain and continuing our King of Queens marathon. Ronnie is a huge fan and has seen all episodes about three times. We've started watching the first season and want to watch the whole series. I think I have more fun watching Ronnie laugh at the dumb jokes than the actual show.
I'm already looking forward to next weekend and hopefully some sunshine!
