Marriage: 11 Months
Today marks 11 months of marriage for Ronnie and me. I am somewhat surprised that a year is almost up but also feeling like it’s been years since last April. Reflecting back over the last 11 months gives me so much joy at how we’ve worked through disagreements, planning a budget, making goals for ourselves in the future. Remembering the adventures we’ve been on to Austin, Napa, Cancun, and Colorado. We’ve laughed SO hard, cried a few times, gotten frustrated, mad, celebrated promotions, personal goals, experienced growth personally and professionally, grown closer to God, and found friends through church.
I’m so excited to grow old with Ronnie and experience all the rest that God has planned for us. I never knew I was capable of loving someone the way I do with him and it’s scary and exciting all at the same time. He makes me a better person through his love, encouragement, patience, and kindness. I’ve learned so much in the past 11 months about what it means to be a wife and I still have a long way to go but I know I’ve got the best guy to learn with by my side.
I can’t wait for April 19th to get here so we can celebrate one year of marriage and I can write another mushy love post again!
