Hi.

Welcome to She Is Blessed. Hope you follow along on my journey through the adventures of marriage, becoming a mom, creations in the kitchen, my love of all things sweet, and my journey of faith.

20 Weeks

20 Weeks

How far along: 20 weeks, 1 day
Total weight gain: Our scale has officially died so I'm at a loss.  Maybe 10 pounds?
Maternity clothes? Oh yes and I plan on using the birthday gift cards I got to finish finding a few more shirts next weekend. I ran into Destination Maternity to return a pair of pants that I didn't like and fell in love with all the fall clothes. Unfortunately Dallas will be in the high 90's for the next few weeks. I'm definitely looking forward to cooler sweater weather.
Stretch marks? None so far but I'm still using oil and lotion each night to help with the itchiness.
Sleep: I honestly feel like I can't get enough sleep. I'm constantly hitting snooze during the week and taking naps on the weekend. This baby is taking up all of my energy!
Best moment this week: Finding out Baby J is a girl!! We still can't believe it and keep talking about. We've watched the video Ronnie took during our appointment probably two or three times now.
Miss anything? Not much, just looking forward to feeling her move and beginning to make plans on nursery and registering.
Movement: I still haven't felt any flutters but I'm hopeful it will start soon.
Food cravings: WATER! Lots of water and cold fruit. I've thought about smoothies multiple times this past weekend but didn't actually get or make one.
Gender:  GIRL! Ronnie and I are so so SO excited and finding out the gender has made it so much more real. We've started calling her by name already and it's the sweetest thing to hear Ronnie talk about her and pray for her.
Labor Signs: Nope!
Symptoms: Nausea yet again. It's been coming on pretty consistently this past week and I'm getting pretty tired of feeling gross.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Looking forward to: Registering this weekend for all things baby girl. I've been researching strollers, car seats. bottles, etc and I'm looking forward to actually seeing everything in person.
