All in Baking
This past Sunday I was planning out our Super Bowl party menu and completely blanked on what I would make Ronnie's office for the week.
I didn't intend to make these today but after a burned caramel disaster in my kitchen yesterday, I had to think quickly with what I had in my pantry. Leaving things on the stove to go pack up some moving boxes isn't usually the best idea. I'm STILL working on getting the blackened caramel off my All Clad. Despite that though, I came up with a dessert that not only looks amazing but was a breeze to make. Fruity and sweet with a warm buttery smell means the guys at my husbands office should devour these in one afternoon!
One of my all time favorite flavor combinations has got to be cinnamon and sugar. I love all sweets but this one is at the top of my list. I love breakfast foods with cinnamon and sugar-monkey bread, cinnamon french toast.
My favorite blueberry muffin recipe. I know you'll love it!
The recipe is so easy and looks great in the pretty glass trifle bowl. Most ingredients I usually have on hand this time of year so if needed I can whip up something sweet pretty quickly.
Philippians 4:6 says 'Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be known to God'. I've decided to start this weekly series as a way to remind myself of the blessings in my life and to appreciate the little things.
